Kristin Brien is a Registered Nurse focused on forming collaborative partnerships with clients to help them regain control of their health and overall wellness through Health Coaching, Functional Medicine, Reiki, and Yoga. She is currently studying to be a Family Nurse Practitioner with a subspecialty in Holistic Medicine at New York University.

With over 10 years of experience working in hospital and office settings, Kristin, has first hand experience caring for the critically ill and has made it her mission to shift healthcare from a disease based system to a wellness based system.
Kristin specializes in assisting individuals who want to identify the root cause of their ailments, optimize their health, and boost their performance in all aspects of life.
Kristin, has worked hard to uncover the cause of her own ailments including heart palpitations while exercising, severe joint pain and swelling, dizziness, brain fog, and headaches. Surrounded by leading physicians, Kristin, sought the expertise of her colleagues. As a healthcare provider and former Division 1 athlete, she was shocked and disheartened by how quickly her symptoms were dismissed with responses such as, “You are getting older,” “It’s in your head,” “Your metabolism is changing,” and “You need to exercise more. Hire a trainer.” In her relentless pursuit to reclaim her health, she turned to naturopathic and functional medicine to find answers. Kristin was able to heal her body through diet, meditation, reiki, and yoga and is now able to share her knowledge with others so they can heal themselves.
Living in New York requires constant focus and determination to succeed, whether it’s long hours of work or commuting home through hoards of people and traffic. Eating the right foods for your individual needs and learning how to quiet the mind provides the tools necessary to optimize your well being. She can help you tweak your diet and reduce stress with mindful breathing and reiki; leaving you with improved concentration and productivity.
